During My Chef Class, My Knife Was Taken Out Of My Knife Kit? Is It Common For People To Steal Knives ?

at college? How much would a good butcher knife cost? The kit cost $119, and they took the biggest knife. Someone else said their knife was stolen also. It was the first day in the kitchen, and it was taken really early in class. Very strange and frustrating.
