Edward Lear invented the SPORK, which is an eating utensil that can be used as both a spoon or a fork. The name “Spork” is a blend of the words (sp)oon and f(ork) and has also been called the runcible spoon (mentioned by Edward Lear in his 1871 poem “The Owl and the Pussycat”).

I primarly use a knife for fresh produce and occasionally meat. So basic as can be…nothing fancy, therefore i’d hate to invest in a cutlery set. I’m just looking for one excellent knife- but i get confused when i look thru sites and stores because they are all sorts of shapes, sizes, have all sorts of names…and i am clueless what I’m actually looking for. What is type of knife should i get?
