Does anyone know where I can hire crockery and cutlery in Birmingham for a party. Not too expensive though. I’m catering for about 150 people and need dinner plates, soup bowls, wine glasses, dessert plates and the corresponding cutlery. Please help.

You have an interesting question here. I think if you don’t mind being embarrassed then go for it. I can see the cutlery but your own plate….. I really can’t see that going over well. It’s an insult to the restaurant and the chef.
If you are a major germaphob, call the restaurant a head of time and talk it over with them…..

There is really no standard on furnished places. Sometimes it is just furniture and sometimes it goes as far as dishes and towels. You really have to ask each individual place and find out what they include.
