What Is A Gift A Chef Would Love (under $100)?
I wanted to get a ceramic knife, but he already has one. This is not for a professional chef, but for someone who loves to cook and appreciates well-made things. Thanks!
I’d Like To Buy A Nice 6-8″ Chef’s Knife And Paring Knife For About $100 Total. Ideas?
This is for a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and me. I’ve signed up for the “knife basics” cooking class, and we’re required to bring our own chef’s knife, paring knife, and cutting board.
I’ve seen some knives in Williams-Sonoma or on-line that range in the $150+ range for a paring knife plus a chef’s knife (Globe, etc.). I’d like to know whether I can buy a knife with that same quality for about 30% less (since I have to buy two sets — one for me and one for my girl).
But if going down to the $50-60 knives means a considerable lack in quality, please let me know. I have a drawer full of junk knives, and I’m sick of it.
What Is The Best Chef’s Knife Under $100, $200?
Any style, any brand, no preference. I know it won’t be the “best” possible knife in existence, but I want the best possible knife within this price range. In other words if you only had $100 or $200 to spend on a chef’s knife and had to buy one, which one would you buy? Please include name or model and estimate of price if possible. Thanks.
Are There Any Good Cutlery Sets For Under $100?
I’m looking for a decent cutlery set for a gift. I’d like to get one with a block. I’m looking to spend around a $100. I know the person receiving would like a set with a carving knife. I’ve seen sets that list an 8″ slicing knife. Is that equivalent? Any suggestions?
