Will Anyone Notice A Little Something Different In My Stuffing This Year?

I”ve recently aqcuired some new chopping knives. While chopping the onions and celery for my turkey stuffing, I do believe the cork from my bottle of wine somehow snuck in there with a stalk of celery.
Pampered chef knives are very sharp.
Do you think anyone will notice a little cork in their stuffing.
Its chopped finely.

Maggie, everybody likes a good stuffing at this time of year and as they are usually pi**ed they always enjoy.
May I suggest a little extra additive that may help that was brought to our attention earlier by Sindyhttp://www.lulu.com/content/4956212
I’m sure this will make for a stuffing not to be forgotten.

Since I will not be attending dinner this Thanksgiving, I’d be willing to supply you with any missing ingredients for Scoundrel’s stuffing recipe. We could work as a team. We could make a day of it. I have a sweet sausage and walnuts I can’t find much use for to get us started. The rest we can come up with together. Wow… I suddenly have a desire to cook with you………
(There’s another line I had about spitting or swallowing the stuffing, but I won’t go there… lol.)
I doubt anyone will notice the cork if some got chopped in there.. If everyone likes it, you might have to add it to the recipe card. I’m sure it’s going to be great. Save me some leftovers.

I would assume it would be hard to chew, even small. But I would worry if cork is toxic or nontoxic. It comes from a tree. Even if your guests ate it and didn’t notice it, it may not be a good thing for them to ingest. I would worry that it could be dangerous to eat.

Hmm, this could cause you needless embarrassment, Maggie.
To avoid an otherwise perfect evening being spoilt I suggest you mask the presence of corky inclusions in your stuffing mix by lacing it with some LSD.
A good hostess goes the extra mile, wot!

It happens. Let’s see…do you by chance have enough time and ingredients to remake the stuffing? If not, um…good luck. It shouldn’t be toxic, though, because your wine has come in contact with the cork when it was in the bottle.

If someone gets it and mentions it to you just say “YOU WIN” and give them a prize from your pre-bought xmas gifts.
What can you do? Happens to the best of us.

HA! Not when they’re too busy scarfing it down…
Don’t listen to those other people…cork is perfectly healthy…it may even add some flavor!
