What Would Be The Dis Advantages Of Using Wood For Cutlery And The Disadvantages Of Using Stainless Steel?

You mean wooden knives with wooden blades? You might cut a baked potato, but you won’t slice anything the least bit tough. Cutlery has to be able to be sharpened and to hold a sharp edge. Wood won’t do that.
Stainless steel cutlery is cheap and readily available. You can buy all you need at a yard sale for $5. I don’t see any disadvantages to stainless steel.

The word that comes to mind for wood is: splinters! I do not want little flakes of wood stuck between my teeth! Stainless is common for cutlery; Few disadvantages there.
