I don’t have a dishwasher [which are brilliant for making them sparkle!]. Any one know of anything I can use to make them shiny again? Thanks

Lagostina makes a powdered product (usually marketed as a cleaner for their brand of stainless steel cookware) that works very well for stainless steel cutlery and cleaning your stainless steel sinks. It runs about $5-6 and you need only used a small sprinkle to make a paste to rub on your cutlery or dilute a small amount in water and sit the cutlery sit for a few minutes. A DIY solution is white vinegar and baking soda which works as well.
