Add two to three tablespoons of White Vinegar to the washing up water and soak for about ten to fifteen minutes then rinse thoroughly and dry
In future washing add two to three tablespoons of Vinegar to your dishwashing liquid this will help it last longer and also disinfect and help your dishwashing liquid perform better it will also remove the residues left by the dishwashing liquid and help make them shine clear through this will also cut grease and leave your dishes smelling clean and not perfumey Good Luck !

I second the part about adding vinegar to the dish detergent, either apple cider or distilled will work just fine. You could also add a little bit of lemon juice since the acids can help in cleaning your kitchenware but I don’t do that so that lemon juice is optional.

I am surprised you ask this. I hope you rinse your washing-up in running water. You will not get the smell nor the toxic residue of the petroleum based washing up liquid.

I have always used my grandmothers method of a capful of bleach in my dish water…it makes the house smell really clean also!
